our story
Jeremy and Eleanor started Chloris Flowers from a garage at their home in September 2003.We both gave up good jobs at Norwich Union, one of the largest companies in the UK, to follow Eleanor's dream and passion of working with flowers full time.
Occasionally we'll question ourselves, especially in the early hours of a cold, dark winters morning, as to why we left the warmth, security and financial rewards of office life. But having the unique ability to use fresh, beautiful products to convey a message or feeling on someone else's behalf and the rewards and feedback we receive daily from our customers makes it all worthwhile.
We moved from our home to a workshop unit in Pitt Street in July 2004, which enabled our high quality designs to be purchased direct by our customers.
Just six months later we were delighted when Jarrold in Norwich approached us to be their new in-store florist, following this we opened in the basement of Jarrolds on the 18th April 2005, where we continue to trade today........
Our objective has never been to be "bigger" than anyone else. Just better.
